At FHI, we believe in the power of people coming together to create meaningful change. That’s why we are proud to once again participate in and sponsor the 2025 Walk for Water on March 29, 2025. This event raises awareness and funds to provide clean, safe water to communities in need, addressing one of the most fundamental human necessities.
For many of us, access to clean water is something we take for granted. But for millions of people around the world, gathering water is a daily challenge—often requiring long walks to distant, unclean sources. The Walk for Water is designed to symbolize this struggle, as participants walk a route carrying buckets of water, just as so many families must do every day.
Why We Walk
At FHI, we know that strong communities start with strong foundations, and nothing is more foundational than access to clean water. It impacts health, education, and economic opportunity. Our involvement in the Walk for Water aligns with our values of service and making a tangible difference where it matters most.
Through our participation, we are not only raising funds but also standing in solidarity with those who face this daily burden.
