Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about what it takes to be a successful member of our travel team.

What areas of the country does the travel team cover?

Our projects span the continental United States. We are consistently receiving calls from notable distribution centers in almost every state. We go where we are needed.

How many hours will I average per week?

The better question is how many hours a week do you want to work?  Our current teams are not limited to a 40-hour work week. We want to help our customers quickly and safely. We go into warehouses that are facing challenges and offer the strength they need.

Do I need warehouse experience?

Yes. Our travel teams are the best of the best. While we offer opportunities to gain leadership experience on this team, there is no on-the- job training for the essentials of warehouse work.  Please check out our Warehouse Team job area if you are new to warehousing.

How often are associates paid?

We pay on a weekly basis.

Do I need to pay and arrange my own travel?

No. We take care of all the logistics. Once assigned, we arrange your travel to and from the site, your hotel and provide you a per diem for expenses.

How long do the assignments last?

Each assignment has a minimum of a six-week stay. Often there is the opportunity to sign up for additional weeks on that same project or an upcoming project.

It was an honor to serve in the military and defend our great country's freedom. I'm very proud that my Grandfather, Dad and brother also served. The military taught me about teamwork, dedication, sacrifice, and leadership and my time in the service helped prepare me for my role at FHI. My teammates are caring, giving, fun to work alongside and are passionate about serving one another as well as our customers. I am so proud to be a part of the FHI team.

Our culture creates a support system like no other. We pick each other up when we're down, motivate each other to strive for the best, encourage each other to be strong when we feel weak. We all have the same goal in mind and have diverse perspectives that work together to get the job done.
